Jive Mofo is my play space on the interwebs. My little tube in the series. And a place to play with ideas and the technology for publishing ideas online.

I've spun my music posts off into another site, Jolly Bongo.com, which is completely apolitical. Meanwhile JiveMofo has become more politically provocative.

I don't enjoy politics whatsoever. But after having been apolitical most of my life, I had children. And somehow the idea short-sighted bureaucrats ruining my children's town, state, country and planet has become horribly offensive to me.

My friend Liquidator65 posts here, as well, making this site more than a personal blog. The Liquidator is definitely as right of center as I am to the left. But we enjoy each other's company and make every attempt to keep it civil. The purpose is to have a meaningful discussion and well-reasoned arguments—not just the standard left/right train wreck of talking points. We don't always succeed, but we make a sincere attempt.
